There's a beer festival in the Huddersfield Wetherspoons from tomorrow until April 14th. It's selling pints you don't normally get the chance to drink, from counties like Japan, Poland etc and they all only cost 1.49 a pint. I can't believe somewhere is selling pints cheaper than Wombwell
Tis True Just thought i'd mention mine (only been in once mind). 50 is a great range of products. Any people recommend........ http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/promotions/2008-real-ale-festival/
RE: Tis True Oakham JHB,Kelham Island Pale Rider, Stone california IPA..........but as usual it depends how they are kept
RE: Tis True Recommend Wadsworth Horizon....my mate's had it on in his pub, nice light ale. Jenning's Sneck Lifter - quite a dark ale Wychwood Mad HAtter - had that a few weeks back. Saltaire's worth a try Hook Norton as well O'Kells I note the Japanese beer isn't really a Japanese beer! "This is brewed by Japan’s Yo-Ho Brewing Company, at Marston’s Brewery, Staffordshire"
