And anyone else who is as strongly against Hill staying. Genuine question - I'm interested in your thoughts as hill hasn't set the world on fire admittedly, but I don't think anyone else would do any better in the circumstances, you obviously don't agree. Who would you bring in, and how do you assess they would do any better? I fear your thoughts and opinions tend to get drowned by people having a go for not agreeing with them - I'm interested to hear your thoughts though, I'm hoping to get some differing opinions to weigh up general opinion without having to fish through the jibes and personal attacks! Cheers in advance
I think other managers have proved it is possible to be (relatively) successful on a small budget at this level. Obviously I don't know the ins and outs of every club's finances but if I was looking at someone who is avaliable and done well on a small budget and "fits the DNA" I'd go for Sean Dyche. It's difficult to say how anyone would do but it's beyond the pale to say that no one could do better than Hill as there will be more than one person who could.
And I think his sacking by Watford was a joke - should we be looking to replace hill he'd do for me. Good shout. Not convinced he'd do any better like I say, but interesting to see your thoughts.
Agree CT about the no one could do better ***** that gets spouted, they dont do Hill any favours putting him upon that pedestal.
