RE: Best beaches in Yorkshire Yeah without a doubt as the sea water is very clean on the east coast. Filey, Bridlington, Primrose Valley, Scarboro and Whitby are all good for the sea water.

I go surfing in and around scarborough ........ So i spend quite a bit of time in the sea and i can confirm it is pretty clean i got alot more dodgy guts whilst surfing in cornwall!!!
