    pietersen.

Think ill see mister Ladbrokes and see what odds I get on him not to make fifties again to pay off the visa.

Oh and another thing. Bragging about the one time you got something right doesn't gloss over the constant things you get wrong. It just comes over all desperate.

I didn't know there was an HTML code that makes some of your text invisible!

It worked like camouflage; it's as if HT just couldn't see this.. but I know it's there because I can quote it... Amazing.

    Lost 20 quid DeeTee.
    It happens
Think it's been a rubbish series.
Pitches to suit the Pakistani team. Not fair pitches.
Some bowler that looks like hes breaking the rules.

Unfair pitches? Don't talk daft. The difference has been we've batted terribly. Not one hundred from an England player and the ball has often done little.

So the first test when the ball didnt turn & most of our batsmen picked the wrong length and were bowled or lbw, that was an unfair pitch? Nothing to do with our batsmen being underprepared or having a poor technique in sub continent conditions? The same pitch we bowled Pakistan out for 99 on the first morning of the 3rd test.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Unlike in England where we - oh, hang on - doctor the pitches to suit us.

We were shocking. Most of the dismissals were down to bad shot selection and technique, not unplayable deliveries.

Thats it though, england don't really do it.

They present good pitches for any country.
The ICC have praised england for it.

But the pitches suit the bowlers we have. Just like Pakistan's suit their bowlers. Yet we still managed to get them all out for less than a hundred. It's the batsmen that have failed.

It's like Stoke making their pitch narrower to suit Delap's throw-ins. It's not cheating, it's just giving yourself a home advantage.

Yes we never prepare pitches that seam and assist swing. We always have hard attritional pitches that spin sideways.... oh

Just shup up, please. You clearly have no idea about the subject so don't bother commenting.

    A) We do create pitches for our team, as every nation does.
    B) It's pretty much impossible to create a green seamer in those conditions.

One of the great things about cricket is the different surfaces you must adjust to, and that's what makes the best teams the best in that they can adapt to what is thrown at them. We'll beat most at home, but will only become a great team when we learn to win in all over the world.

Why does everybody argue with him? Its a pointless task.
I dont know how old the rest of you in this thread are, but I have watched cricket for 20 odd years, at alsorts of levels - and played it - and so the day I listen to Phil will never arrive.
England, Pakistan, Australia, Kenya, Timbuktu, they all prepare their own pitches/wickets to suit their own team. End of
