I currently have a 5yr old COMPAQ desktop which is slowly dying. I am wanting to get a laptop that I can game, download music on, burn CD's, and also job stuff, something that will be quick, not go out of date soon, and that I can use when I eventually make my internet wireless. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving over here and they have huge sales. One of the stores is offering the following laptop for $378 (about 200 pounds). My question is should I get this laptop for what seems the great price, or should I save some more cash and go for a DELL or something eles at a later date? The laptop is: HP Pavilion z32308wm Notebook Includes- AMD Mobile Sempron 2800+ processor 1.6 Ghz 256 RAM, 40 GB Hard Drive CDRW/DVD ROM 54G.802.11 Wirless LAN 15 inch screen Thanks for any/all your help PS. To add on to my last question, there are two other laptops on sale: Gateway Intel M 360 Notebook, 512MB, 60GB, Wireless $580 (about 350 pounds) Toshiba L25-S1193 Laptop - $450 (about 260 pounds) Any advice/experience on which is the best? Again, thanks
I suspect the misunderstanding was from here http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/BBS/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=13232&mid=79018#M79018
Id Go for the Toshiba. Excellent deal apart from its not going to be great for games but then laptops aren't unless you are prepared to spend big.
