Ready for the triple header tomorrow night? Sky Sports are really pulling out all the stops this season with 130 live games and numerous shows, including one on six days a week. Three awesome games that could go either way tomorrow night. Could see a England franchise based at Wembley happening in the near future (Y) (Y) (Y)

    Do you realise

That Sky are showing more live NFL this season than live Premier League!

Just a shame they don't have it in widescreen/HD.

Don't see it expanding here though - the logistics would be too great.

Shame the Saints didn't turn up on Thursday, they were awful, the offence didn't do owt against what isn't that good a defence.

Shocking fact that NFL gets shown more in the four month season than the premier league which is over twice as long. I think we could have an English franchise in NFL. However it would depend on who we could get to play for us over here. Manning ran the show the other night. He's already on course for 25 touchdown passes for the 10th season in a row. A record that will take some breaking for anyone else. Just hoping Saints season last year wasn't a one off.

The problem with an English team is the logistics in them having to play in the US every other week, did you see Sky's programme last year when David James and Martyn Johnson did a programme behind the scenes and went to Seattle? They need a jumbo jet purely for the team/coaches etc and all the equipment they carry!

Also take into account that we don't have a stadium equipped, a one off at Wembley is one thing, but not sure if the changing rooms are big enough, perhaps they are now.....when they played there pre-seaon years ago they had to use Wembley Arena for the teams to change. Given that there are 30-40 players kitted per team.

I'd think the money involved would be enough to find solutions to obsticles. It could be based somewhere else like Manchester maybe. I think the Eagles might just do it this year.

Don't think the Eagles will do it, and neither do the people I spoke to over there. They are in the **** if McNabb picks up an injury as they don't have the backup this year and he has been plagued by injury the last couple of years.
I think the Bears may go one better this year, seem to be improving year on year for the last 3 or 4 seasons...the beauty of it though is that it's always difficult to call with the way the draft system works.

No way that the NFL would go anywhere other than London if they were looking to expand into UK. Think that even if it does happen, it would be a few years, they'll go with the 1 or 2 games outside the US for a few years - incidentally I finally got a code for the final sale of tickets this week...not sure now whether to bother as I'm planning another trip to Philly for Thanksgiving (Eagles on the road unfortunately though)

I got the code through for next wednesday as well. Can have four tickets if I wish. Apparently these are better tickets than the first two batches and people who have already bought have been complaining about people this wednesday getting more central seats instead of being suck in a end zone.
