Just for your information, Mr Murdoch and his media empire should be regarded as an enemy of the British Working Class.

 

i get it rs, you dont like the Murdoch family. be it writen media or tv but its not really the point.

 

My opinion is that given their cynical exploits in the past, given long enough, they will replace the NOTW. Because they love money above everything else.

 

Of course they will. When the furore around the hacking inquiry dies down and Ms Wade is a distant memory, there'll be something to replace NotW.

buying a tv service makes far more pound to pound than a newspaper.

The NOTW used to sell about 3 million copies each week. The bulk of the income comes not form the cover price, but rather teh advertising revenues that a significant readership brings. That is why they shut the paper, because a load of comapnies did not want to be associated with the paper anymore and it would not be vialble to continue without that income.
