    Maybe they're good, if you want a "flappy/ holey" earlobe in your 50s/ 60s - when you decide you're too old for it.

    cos if anyone develops a safe and easy tattoo removing machine they'll make a mint in a few years when young ladies start to regret falling for that craze.

    why not? I had my ear streched up to 10mm and in my opinion it looked good but that is the thing it is all down to individual taste, i personally feel that anything over 14mm looks ott but the people who have them pbviously like it. I also have my lip pierced and and large beard but i don't do it to look like an individual i look like this cause i like the way i look and as for lack of self confidence maybe but no more than any other person in the world.

    ...wear goth clothes
    ...wear chav gear
    ...wear surfer gear
    ...wear bling
    ...wear flat caps.
