    Have you applied for the Supporter Liaison officer position at Oakwell? Is the job advertised just because it has to - I think we all know a member of the 'trust' will be already in place to take the job. Or am I talking b0llocks - for a change I may add :)

    To be fair, I do fit the criteria pretty well, and was encouraged to apply by a BFC employee. But once they've read my blog, seen my 'original' videos on youtube and read through my ******** on here/twitter, I think they'll give me a miss.

    A crash course in diplomacy will see you in good stead!! :D

    3 positions though, so you may well be in with a shout. I reckon they will go for a broad age range and perhaps someone with minority/disability experience. Gordon would be perfect and it may well suit him.

    No I haven't applied. I guess you don't think I should either?
    We've seen the adverts and discussed how it would work with Ben a few times but that is all. We're seriously understaffed as a Trust board, with only 8 board members in place and half of them are already doing things on a match day e.g. Joan has run the disabled area for the last 30ish years so I don't think we have the personnel to do these 3 roles and I think Ben wants a spread of age in these 3 positions e.g. young/ middle age/ older fan. Again I don't think we can do this at least not from the current board members although other members may want to get involved.

    I never said that you shouldn't, I just think this has been advertised just because it has to. I feel the position is already filled and im 99% certain I will be correct
