I like your way of thinking about Ritchie. If we stay up we will be more attractive to manage with more experienced managers. So i think the board are doing the correct thing with the wait and see approach.
so in other words your saying let Andy Ritchie and Rick Holden try and keep us up and if they succeed sack them to get a more experienced man in and if they dont succeed, well, keep them!!! thats completely logical!!! good point
And what you forget is while Ritchie doesn't have a job come next summer, the first promotion hunting team that sacks their manager (leeds ?) can come in a take easily him leaving us without a manager. Ritchie will be a target for other clubs and we will be perceived as an easy target if we do not renew his contract soon.
I'll ask you the same Q as Gazzred , name some managers who you think would be doing better who are realistically available.
Thankyou, at least somebody is seeing what i am getting at. If somebody comes in for him then let him go i'm sure that once we are established in this division again then there will be better managers than him who can take over. I don't think that he is that good to be honest as he won't sign experienced players and is short of tactical ability! Anyway lets see what happens but i am with GS all the way on this one!

Could you please fill me in on what this Jonathan used to be like because you seem to think that i'm something to do with it when i can assure you that i have no idea who Jonathan is as i have only been on this BBS for 3 weeks!
Name me some players , other than trying to win where is he flawed tactically? Who are these "better managers" that guarantee results then?

Then we went up Then he disappeared Then you turned up saying you don't think Ritchie is up to the job.
RE: Are you Jonathan in disguise ??? That has nothing to do with me, i had a feeling that we would go up after we beat Forest away, we had a few shockers but we weren't that bad and we were always in and around the play off places last season.
