I think you can see the amount of interest there has been on here today and the level of confusion and conjecture there has been caused by the sale of Mcindoe. A little explanation on the thinking behind it would go a long way.

    yours faithfully

    Confused

Something should be said about the sale of Macca, even if it is simply "the deal is too good to refuse".

    Allegedly

Michael McIndoe had made his mind up he wanted to leave 48 hours ago, had said his goodbyes to the rest of the squad by 9am yesterday and could not be persuaded to stay under any circumstances, to the point where he was prepared to sit about for 6 months til a clause in his contract, which hads somehow been leaked to the purchasing club, could be triggered.

good luck to him, and good luck to Wolves keeping hold of him cos something tells me he's destined for bigger things.

cant find words to describe what bitterness I personally feel towards the purchasing clubs manager.

    No explanation required from Shepard.
Just ask the Scottish Pillock to explain his own self centered egotistical reasons.

    YOU WERE WARNED!!!!
When the going gets tough the twit gets going !!!!:pff :pff :pff :pff

    RE: Allegedly

If that's what has happened then I don't see the problem with the club saying so. Do you? Most people are a bit miffed to say the least. Personally, I think selling the clubs' best player should have been a decision left to the new manager and McIndoe should have been told to sit tight 'til January, when his chance will come.

Very harsh - Put the effort in whenever he wore the Barnsley shirt.. If only some of the others did at the same time we wouldn't be in this mess!!!!

Wish him the best for the future. Everyone should have ambition, and he's got that.

Im sure it will be said

certain things are alleged that obviously cant be made public, and having left it on reasonable terms, dont want to antagonise the player further, so stating that he was prepared to hold the club to randsom maybe best kept hush. and we may want to do business with the purchasing club and the agent involved at a later date. perhaps its wise not to burn your bridges, hehe...

for the record tho, McIndoe was Ritchie's biggest critic, and I will read with interest what Andy has to say cos directly and indirectly, he may possibly have had a hand in the lad leaving.

    He's from Wilthorpe apparently

and makes out he's proud of his roots. I hope Keane breaks his face.

Fair enough, we'll see what happens. I'm dying to hear Ritchie's take on things though. Also, could you ask Gord whether we enquired about ehiogu or indeed any actual defenders?

    The defender situation

will be resolved. remember, Togwell was bought for his versatility, and with more bite in midfield, we might be more equipped to defend as a team. we still need a centre half, and yes Ehigogogou was one we tried to get. as was Lucketti. and Clement. remember, we went from being in a situation of not wanting to sign anyone but Cadamateri to having 48 hours to make things happen.

we've got some time between now and January to prepare and research. as chief cynic turned puppet, I say hand on heart that Im much more confident about our chances of staying in the Championship.
