are we 'there or there abouts' with the wage bill this season? if so, are we operating a '1 in 1 out' transfer/loan policy?

    Not a proper fan

Did you go to the Leeds friendly ?

well matched 1st half, Leeds bossed 20 minutes after half time then we came back a bit.

    Vaughan played well imho.

I see Hayes has been singled out by the hard of thinking. Nowt changes......

    Good news or bad news?

Good news : Long sleeved shirts were available yesterday ... didn't have to wait 8 weeks for one - which means that someone is starting to grasp the 'supply/demand' concept.

Bad news : As SM has stated ... the clubshop is full of tat. I wandered around the shop, debit card in hand, looking for stuff to buy. Ended up with a mug ... which is pretty cack. I would have spent more money (a la Blade) if there had been anything worth buying.

Bad news 2 : It looked like a Happy Shopper convention at Oakwell yesterday.

Bad news 3 : The ice cream van didn't do 'Mr Whippy'.

Bad news 4 : Saw Journo. The ugly lovely person.

havent bothered with any friendlies this year, memories of the wasted optimism of last time, still bitter. I reserve judgement on where we are as a team, but I've a long enough memory to know any team with Colgan, Carbon and Conlon in it will not be worth watching.

I suspect none of those 3 will be in Rich Tea's starting XI.

Can we buy away tickets over't phone ?

    Yes.

And I have anally vomited better gear than is on display.
The chavster who served me was completely brain dead.
I realise that people with a degree in Chemistry aren't going to be working behind the counter - but he asked the boss where the large long sleeved shirts were ... and her answer? 'There - next to the ''large long sleeved'' sticker'.

Seriously ... it looked like Stork SB City behind the East Stand yesterday.

    RE: Yes.

He seems to be the most universally respected member of the 'set' so we have no figurehead.

    I remember ...

... Jay once standing up in some kind of supporters club meeting.
He did a proper speech, which was well thought out ... and eloquently stated.
When he was done you could clearly hear people saying stuff like ''what was the ****** on about?''.

I plan to destroy his reputation before the returns.
