I might be stranded in Farnborough tonight, just wondering if anyone is watching the game in a nearby pub. I managed to find a pub in Fleet for the Forest game but it was a bit last minute. Any suggestions?
I need to find a pub too I work in Farnborough and if you are stuck here too it would be better to find a pub which has at least one other barnsley supporter in. thing is I dont know which pubs round here are likely to show it. I think I watched a couple of games game in the Duke of York in Weybourne but tried to call them to see if its on tonight and no reply yet. If you have any suggestions let me know - or I will try again later
RE: I need to find a pub too Much the same for me. Someone (possibly Scarfy) suggested a few for the Forest game but they weren't that bothered about showing League 1 footy. Ended up in a pub in Fleet but I had to ask the landlord to put it on....change from MTV. Not 100% sure if I'm in Farnborough yet but I'll know in a couple of hours.
Elm tree in Weybourne Is showing it - "if there is footy on we will be showing it" I have just been told
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/18/18502/Elm_Tree/Weybourne

I got the original name wrong - Scarfy recommened this one to me in the past Should have said Elm tree not D O Y Been there a couple of times
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/18/18502/Elm_Tree/Weybourne
Will go there tonight unless you or anyone else local has any better ideas

RE: I got the original name wrong - Scarfy recommened this one to me in the past Right mate. I'll probably see you in there. I'll look out for someone glued to the telly.
RE: I'm the stunningly handsome bloke LOL I'll be the other stunningly handsome bloke, sans beard. The missus might be with me as well so apologies in advance for comments such as 'which way are we kicking' and 'what's offside'.
I'm working - otherwise I'd join you Sit on the right hand side of the bar as you go in - the other side is for locals, and if you only have five digits on each hand, you could be in trouble
Err the only problem with that is The screen is on the left as you go in so unless you want to be miles away you need to at least be leftish.

my gaff whiteley , fareham, you're all welcome !!! dont tell ar lass tho !! say you were just passing.....
Hang to the right The big screen is on the left - there is a decent sized tv on the right. Or at least thats how it was when we beat Huddersfield 7-1 many moons since
