    hmm no what? Is that a reply to me asking if etuhu did anything?

    I forgot about mellis' shot, you're right it was decent. Stones didn't look good enough today which is disappointing but then none of the defence looked good enough for maybe it was a bad day at the office.

    We went to 4-2-3-1 formation when subs came on, with digby etuhu as the two holding midfielders, clarke on the right and Martin & jimbob all over the shop, mido up front. Martin looks lke he could be hills attempt to find a pass threader on the edge of the box, that we have been looking for for years. Comfortable on the ball, in and around the box, just looked a bit rusty and unfamiliar with the other players.

    I think he plays centrally in midfield.
    former french u21 player.
    played at boro a few times, also was at blackpool.

    Martin played well and Etuhu will be great for us. Clark looks a different player could have a lot of involvement this year.

    Stones made a few mistakes, but basically I thought he looks a decent prospect. He looked more willing to go forward than goldbourne, and put some decent tackles and headers in.

    If players, especially young players aren't allowed to make the odd mistake in a pre season friendly, then theres something up.

    i didnt like the crowds reaction reaction when clark passed instead of shooting.

    He knew he made a mistake, why the need to react like he had just shot your mum.

    The fans didn't react like that. The fans imo reacted by encouraging him to shoot.
