Unfortunately I haven't seen em live yet was goin to see them last year at O2 academy in Sheffield but ended up not going. Thinking of seeing em soon though... They're amazing, both of they're albums are absolute class! Justin Young's voice is pure gold... I have heard that they sound brilliant live. If I was you I'd go pal.
I've seen em twice, really good. At Manc supporting arctic monkeys and then again a couple of months ago at Donny Dome.
Seen them twice too, pretty decent. Not as electric as the best are live but definitely worth a trip if it's not too much hassle/cost.
its $25 should be a good night theres a group on before called sa cisco there from australia have you heard of them i havent. just waiting for arctic monkeys to comeback here theyve been for the last 2 years hopefully they will be back again. this year. ive only been here since july 12 but theres a good music scene in DC
Well worth the money mate, loved their first album and the first time I saw them (Nov 2011) they were very energetic, and made a lasting impression. Wasn't as bowled over by their 2nd album but they performed it live much better. Very good band.
i loved there first album but havent bought second one yet. so i think we will go ill take my st georges cross so they know im english LOL. One of our friends has a knack at getting back stage to meet the bands,so hopefully backstage bob as we call him will do us proud. so far at various gigs in DC ive met with him oprah winfrey, dustin hoffman, roger daltry, meryl streep, the black keys, train. they have 9 year old twin girls its suprising who you can get apicture with with 2 cuties by your side. i returned the favour by getting the girls a picture with David Beckham,as i played against him a few times, when he played in DC last year we went and i was suprised he recognised me. Great when you know someone
The Come of age is a brilliant album, has a different sound to they're first album. I envy you meeting The Black Keys, they're amazing too!
the black keys were fantastic guys they were the back up to the arctic monkeys last year on there us tour. they knew where i was from straight away with my accent, it was fantastic. i wasnt therfe but backstage bob managed to sneak back stage at an Eddie Vedder concert just for his cheek eddie gave him a signed neon picture.. it has pride of place in his house.
