Ive got a downer on that lass who won. I appreciate she did well to win and dont dispute that but she seemed to show zero respect for the traditions. At the start of every round her opponents stood and nodded/bowed she just stuck her helmet on and didn't bother. Its obvious its the thing to do as all the judges do it when going to appeal etc. at the end she shook the opponents coaches hand and said cheers, which probably isn't the norm The referee made her pick up her helmet in the end before acknowledging her opponent. I know it may sound picky but I found it a bit ignorant and I wasn't the only one who noticed, a few at work said the same.
