A little ironic perhaps, when this same Govt, is bringing in the new Lobbying (Gagging) laws. This law does almost **** all to control Lobbying but does however severely restricts any 3rd parties such as Charities. Unions and other professional non-political bodies from canvassing/campaigning 12 months before a general election.
Clause 3 in this Bill also makes provision to reveal the identity of all workers who are Trade Union members. Considering the 'Blacklist' that already exists in the Construction Industry, another attack on the working person's rights.
About bloody time. Should stop rich bullies trying to silence anyone who questions them, or has the temerity to claim the pies cost too much. It looks like it'll protect you too. If what is written genuinely is libellous, the person who wrote it is the only person that can be sued, not the owners of the web site it is written upon.
