Both Allan Clarke AND Danny Wilson have spoken EXCLUSIVELY to Barnsley's 'head' of 'Media' Mr R Knowles.

Do you think that Danny and Clarkey might have been a bit star struck during their interviews.

    He's a very unassuming guy

Actually, with these interviews with ex-players and managers, he's actually got off his arse and done some journalistic work for once, so we shouldn't really criticise. They're a decent read.

    They are indeed.

I'd like the official site to publish the timetable for when and where fans should be concerned about league form etc. I like to be told what to think.

I'm glad folk think our league position is funny. I'm hoping very much for a lift in league form after Sunday and then we can be in Europe next year as a Championship club.

Those seasons in league 1 - brilliant times, surprised more folk can't wait to get back.

We might win more next season if we're relegated, especially away from home. You've always got to look for the positives.

    No one thinks it's funny

I'm confident we'll get the necessary points required for safety.

    That's better

Look boss, once the semi kicks off I'll be bonkers for 90 minutes. The thought of my club in the international spotlight is something I didn't think I'd see.

However, this club nearly folded whilst we were in League 1, not entirely down to being in that division, but if we drop back, with reduced crowds etc how are we going to keep Luke Steele, Howard, DeSilva, Macken, JCR etc ? The true long term future really worries me at the minute.

If we survive then that means as much to me, just me, nobody else, I don't expect anyone to think the same, as would winning the FA Cup because that then means we keep our better players and some of those signed this year will flourish hopefully next season and we can properly push on up the table.

You're being very harsh on yourself

You'll be bonkers for a lot longer than ninety minutes!
We all know what the repercussions will be, were we to be relegated and it wouldn't be very pleasant.
However, I'm determined to enjoy both the day and the build up to what is an historic occasion in the history of my club. Not to do so would be like going on the holiday of a lifetime, but spending the entire holiday worrying whether you'll be burgled.

    Hehe, nice analogy.

There's nowt we can do about it until next Wednesday like, but we should have been well clear of relegation by now. That's what's really fcked me off.
