Re your PM and the question you have been badgering me to respond to!
    PM :-
It seems a bit two faced to say things on the open board eg that my posts are "literary masturbation" but then say in your PM that you are not one for making personal attacks; to slap my wrist on the open board for not putting your name in the subject line but referring directly to you in the post - but then say, in your PM, that everybody does it! Nine out of ten of your responses to my posts have been antagonistic to say the least but then you offer an olive branch in a PM.
    Question response :-
My posts are my considered opinion and I am under no obligation to justify what I say - they are my opinion and that is all. We are all free to offer our thoughts - it is not my intention to try and change anybody elses views to mine only to put forward my take on the situation. It is my view that Ritchie is not the man to take BFC forward, based on observations which I have made clear on previous occasions and I am at liberty to make those observations without being obliged to provide a list of possible replacements. As I have pointed out before Club Chairmanship is not my chosen profession. I have, however, been involved in hiring and firing in another sector and agree that appointing people to any post is a lottery and BFC have not had a good record over recent seasons, as you pointed out with your list of past managers, but this does not mean that we should not look for new managers just incase we make another mistake. We can not stick with one manager ad infinitum for the sake of continuity or because we have a tight budget or because, as one responder said, football is cyclical and things will pick up! The question is WHEN? When do we say enough is enough? On a poll on here a majority stated that he should keep his job even if the club are relegated this season! And if the trend continues what then? How long do we keep a manager in post because he is a nice man, because he is loyal, because the players like him, because we play good football or because a lot of fans think he is the man for the job regardless of the fact that we have one point from the last 18!
    HOW LONG!

You have been here a week and already arguing "behind closed doors", Jeese, can't be arsed to look up your post history, but christ, even Jonathan went longer than this (or is it you, again, but in disguise)
