I'm coming to Glasgow at the end of July for a friends 30th birthday. Don't know how well you know the area but the party's taking place at the Mount Florida Bowling Club on Carmunnock Road. Do you know of any decent hotels near there?
In his absence, I'll do my worse. Sounds like the party's in the Southside (quite near Hampden) and to be honest I'm not that familar accommodation in that area but if you went city centre (lots of hotels for all budgets) you're talking about a £10 taxi fair.

I was at a wedding on Carmunnock Road the other day! If I remember rightly there was a hotel next door, I'll find out more

RE: Cheers mate It's just outside work, about 6 miles away so I can certainly drive over for a pint at some point if you're free, mate. If I had any space I'd offer you somewhere to stay!
