You answered my last question quite clearly (does the club see the paper before it is published) so I see no reason why you would not answer these in such a way as well to further show that your paper is an open and honest publication with no hidden agenda.

    1. Who was your reporter at the academy game? And is/was this person affiliated with Barnsley Football Club in any official way?

    2. What were your travel arrangements for the Southampton game? Did you travel on the official team bus or in an employees vehicle?

    3. Is there, or has there been, any money passed from the club to yourself?

    4. What is the nature of your relationship with Mr Cryne? Would you say that you are personal friends with him? Is your relationship built solely on your coverage of Barnsley Monthly/Weekly? Or is it somewhere in between?

    5. I have read your newspaper/magazine in the past and it has incorrectly named players on several occasions, which is apparently ok for a professional paper to do as we all know mistakes happen and occasionally people get names wrong (hey Simon Davey struggles with the differences in the names of Kay and Atkinson). Why, if you are allowed to make names related to players names did you feel the need to jump on the back of Red Rain for making exactly the same mistake?

    6. Who were the 14 year olds playing for the club? All players names are available so it isn't a secret.

Thanks a lot, I would much appreciate your responses when you see this thread (tomorrow presumably).

ps, if somebody could bump this post when he is online it would be appreciated.

The Publication is financed by BFC

The Publication IS financed by BFC and was initiated by GS when the club were getting no positive coverage by the local media,
If it was not financed by the club and was a independant publication then you would see local advertising in the publication,
No one at the club CAN deny it is not funded by the club

Why because I spent 2 minutes typing up 6 quick questions that I read in a thread just below?

All I did was collect them into the one post for him and asked them with no agenda. Like I said, he answered a question for me before and I think that the answer he gave that time improved his papers standing a little by clarifying that the club doesnt get chance to pull stories.

Interesting. To be honest, if it was financed by the club it wouldn't bother me in the slightest and I would guess that a few people would be more inclined to buy it as a way of getting news. I'd just like to know so that I know what i'm reading if you know what I mean.

    No mate...

But because you border on the obsessive sometimes. Take a "chill pill", life doesn't have to be serious all the time bud.

    Not just that

And I'm not trying to persecute you. But judging by my cyberchat with you last Sat'day, you're a bit like a dog with a bone on occasion. You're obviously at liberty to ask valid questions, but it seems you look for agendas that aren't there at times. As I say, I'm not having a pop, I'd be happy to have a pint and a chat wi thi sometime.
