Yes, I did thanks mate. Really enjoyed my trip to Tynecastle, lovely compact stadium with a great atmosphere. Good following from Aberdeen helped as well , although the standard of the football was probably only around top League 1 level with the exception of Shankland. Very friendly locals, all slightly bourgeois! Next time I'm in Edinburgh I'll try and go to Easter Road as I've heard it's quite a bit more rough and ready! Bloody good job I didn't jump on the train to Tannadice, sounds like an absolute snooze fest!
Aye it has to be admitted that the standard of football in our game is very poor at best. But nothing will change unless there is significant investment and that won’t happen anytime soon. It is what it is I suppose. Glad to hear your trip was a success.
Can I just say looking at them I can't believe Tyne Castle and Easter Road are only 19,000 and 20,000. They both look bigger than Oakwell because they're tidy Stadiums. How can they be smaller when Oakwell has the dilapidated West Stand?
