She has apparently worked hard ahead of her debut in public, but would obviously lack experience against some of the more seasoned amateurs here. She's 14/1. Not a race I'd be getting involved in! On the other hand: Newcastle 12.45 Beast Mode Newcastle 2.25 Shahbar Huntingdon 2.40 Vancouverite Beware the rain and softened going though!
Thank you Sir! 4/1 was available early doors. Vancouverite hacked up like it was entitled to also, so it's a happy Orsen!
She would have won if she had learnt to ride a strong finish. Still it never did Dettori any harm! Top effort tho and she is hot I agree Hth
The girl done well, Mr Reev. Lady riders are in the news with Hayley Turner's decision to quit riding at the end of the season. She has had some success (three Group 1 wins, and a century of winners a few years ago) but she has never been my favourite rider tactically. The best amateur rider around (female or otherwise) is Serena Brotherton, and you can get Evens today about her ride FRENCH PRESS in the 5.35 at Hamilton. This won by thirteen lengths at Brighton last week and is still way ahead of the handicapper. It should be an odds on shot in my book, so the Evens would represent big value.
Hayley Turner was good. Margot Did in the Nunthorpe did me a massive favour a few years ago with Hayley on board. She was a good rider, as Emma Spencer found out to her cost and Jamie Spencer obviously went well on her! Best of luck to Miss Turner....thanks for the ride on Margot Did in particular. Hth
