What the hell are you doing reading this board?!
Get back to running the football club, and ignore all of the impatient fans. You can see the league table, can see the performances and judge Simon Davey on the targets you set him. If and when you decide his time is up, then do it. Until then ignore the fans, cos they haven't got a clue, a small section can't even agree on here. The wisdom of crowds should be renamed to the stupidity of crowds, getting dragged down to the lowest common denominator who can shout the loudest.
You haven't done bad by us so far, so keep doing whatever you see fit.
thanks
--
Driver.

You've managed to besmirch the whole of the Oakwell faithful in your post there driver. Stupid and insulting post.
besmirch - nice word!
My point is, that we can't even agree on here, never mind the full 10000 or so who regularly attend. Just because the Davey out voices are currently loudest, that is not what everybody thinks, and he shouldn't make a rash decision based on that. Not everyone can be right. If you are insulted by that, then so be it.

No not insulted at all, i was just making the point that insulting the whole of the home crowd by calling them stupid was a little short-sighted.
I didn't call anybody in particular stupid. I made a point of the "wisdom of crowds" v "stupidity of crowds". That so many people who cannot agree cannot be used as a useful decision making tool, because extreme views get a disproportionate amount of exposure. That the only person who can make the decision is Patrick Cryne and he shouldn't be swayed either way by people shouting ever and ever more loudly. He has to go with his own mind.
