Firstly i would like to thank you both on taking the club forward. Now after recent results and performances, I think its time to take the club forward to a new level. Simon Davey has done a very good job in keeping us in this division but he isnt the man to take the club from being relegation candidates to becoming an established championship team. Now I aint stupid and i dont expect someone to come in and get us promoted. All I want as a true reds fan is to be content in this division and compete at the same level as the teams like cardiff city and Ipswich town. Simon has done a amazing job and last seasons FA cup was a great time to be a Barnsley Fan. Unfortunatly, getting to the FA cup semi final doesnt keep you your job if you league form is poor. That run lasted 3 months. A league lasts 9 months. Credit goes to simon but I now think its time to bring someone in who will rejuvenate this group of players and also add some of his own additions in January and turn this club into a mid table championship side. We have the base of a good team on paper but on the field we look below average. This is where we call to Patrick Cryne to make his judgement. Do we take a risk with the man who got us to the FA cup Semi last year? Or do we cut off our ties with him and say thank you simon, you did all you can but a managers career is based on results and now we need to give someone else a go. Billy Davies is a good addition I think. Only problem we have with simon davey is that if we do sack him and billy davies doesnt get the job, Who else is out there in the market that we can realistically afford to take over the reigns? Big sam and keegan NO CHANCE. This is why i wouldnt wanna be Patrick Cryne at this minute in time. The unemployed list at the minute is minimal but our team need a change, What do we do? Let the jury decide

my thoughts exactly. It must be hard for both parties. There isnt a good shortlist of managers to put together who we can afford even if we wanna sack davey. I think hes in charge for a while yet whether we like it or not. I will support him and the team as i follow the reds. I may not agree with everything the manager does but while hes in charge he will get my support. Shouting Davy out davey out while we are languishing in the botton three will not help the lads as much as RED ARMY and COME ON U REDS. I know which songs i will be singing.
