Website hasn't been updated in two days ffs. How about telling us.... 1. Why season ticket holders couldn't buy the best tickets and why they will now go to non season ticket holders at a later date who will not have to queue. 2. How many tickets we sold yesterday. Answering these two questions (especially the first) would be appreciated.
RE: wern't the £ 52 tickets on sale yesterday?? apparently they were selling tickets in blocks from behind the goal and in the corners. once they sell they will sell blocks nearer the halfway line. think its disgusting people couldnt ask for central tickets yesterday.
The tickets are being sold a block at a time, going in order around the stadium. The reason for this is that so a) we don't have supporters dotted all around b) any we don't sell can be returned and sent to swansea, allowing them to have extra and for segregation to still be possible.
I dont think the club has too much flexibility on selling tickets swansea were doing the same. I suspect the rules are you start at your end and work forwards so that if you have unsold ones they can be passed over. In any case I think Rob is still on paternity leave.
a correction they WERE selling tickets in blocks-however in the 1st of the 52 queue which I was in they started at M33 which was the nearest block we had to the half way line-by the time I got to the turnstiles after about 60 people we were down to M38 in the corner-the main problem seemed to be those who had a shipping order of 30+ tickets who couldn't sit next to each other
I personally would have preferred to be near the half way line but if I wanted the best view I'd stop at home and watch it on telly! as it is I'll record it all anyway and enjoy the day out-especially if the result goes our way
