Not bullying him fella. I am making a small query which seems to be confusing some of us on here. I hope Reid has signed that new contract but nothing official as been mentioned.

Yet again several days with no updates, just like it was last month before Cardiff. And then they go on about how many hits they've had on the official web site. Thats because so many of us keep hitting it to see if there is ANY news !!

the official site is a complete pile of crap. they could have said how many season ticket holders for example we have got so far for next season.

well maybe being a PROFESSIONAL football team in the 2nd tier of english football they wouldnt rely on just one man to update the site. also i thought leave for guys was only like 2 weeks. now the online superstore isnt working. our site is a joke.

What's the point of a daily season ticket count?

What does it prove? Why do you want to know?

They said we'd had the most sales on the first day since 97/98, which was an interesting fact.

'On June 7th 2006, Barnsley Football Club have sold 2468 season tickets.'
'On June 8th 2006, Barnsley Football Club have sold 2691 season tickets.' .......

Who cares? It's how many we've sold come the first home game that matters, and the club will inform us then I'm sure.

When meaningful things happen over the summer, they will be published.

As far as I recall the reports elsewhere said Reidy has been rewarded with a new two-year contract, I don't think they said he'd signed it. Did people misread it?

Well the club normally tell us when the 4000, 5000 barriers for example have been 'smashed'. I can remember such reports. Maybe they don't come out with an exact number, but it's not that important is it? I'm sure they'll say for example when we've beaten last season's number. I could be wrong like.

not a daily update but a update every couple of weeks would be good. we havent had one yet whilst other clubs have mentioned sales.

Don't forget other teams started selling them weeks before us.
