Not a rugger bugger, but I thought it was over last week with the loss to Wales.

Not yet it isn't. The fat lady hasn't started singing just yet.

    Great first half.

Too many errors in England's play, Aussies look like getting a try every time the go forward, England haven't been close. 4 turnovers for Aussies.

Just read on bbc that no team has ever over turned a 14 point deficit

    So, aye, it's probably over!

Mocking your own national team failing in their own World Cup.

    Love our country sometimes.

No mocking from me. Read a stat, passed it on.

I hope they win, I'm just not fired up about it

I'm watching it. No idea what's going on. It looks $hit though.

We've been poor so far. Poor discipline, poor handling, poor set pieces, poor positioning in defence.

The Aussies are playing so well its difficult to see us getting back into the game. I can see us scoring but equally I can see them scoring again. It's hard to see a way back now.

In lots of ways I feel a strange kind of disconnect with rugby union. I've stayed up till all hours watching England (and Great Britian at times) competing in all kinds of sports- often fired up and ranting at the tv or radio about sports I don't know anything about; cheering on people I don't know and have not heard of since.

Yet with RU I often just feel cold. I don't know if it's social, or cultural or perspective or what but it just happens.

I'm sure it's a failing on my part rather than the sport or people that play it, but there it is.

    Odd

    Fantastic try.

Discipline the key now. Build pressure and be strong in defence. The Aussies are quick though and I worry every time they attack.

The Aussies are feeling the pressure now, they're making mistakes.

Not sure if taking the three points was the right move. If we'd have scored a try from that penalty then you're a drop goal from making it 20-20.

We'll see. Clock is ticking ......
