Antony Kay was brought on as a substitute for the last 10 minutes of the Brentford game. Would you like to make a guess as to what position he was asked to play?

    Was it

    A: Up Front
    B: Striker
    C: Centre Forward
D: One of them laikers who plays in front of the rest of the team trying to score goals
    E: Notts County

    My guess is:

    Tuna.

    Kinell.
We must have been in trouble if he way playing up front.
I did get an update that Mr Kay was playing as a striker ... and fully expected a comment from you.

How many did he score then?

So far this season he has as many as

Nardiello, Conlon, Jarman and Joynes put together.

If I'm honest with you ...

... I think the finish against Wednesday a few seasons ago was one of the most naturally taken goals I've seen at Oakwell ... and maybe Kay would have made a decent striker - but it's too late for him now.
    A career with AFC beckons.
He's lost in midfield & does not read the game well enough to play centre half (nevermind his tendancy to make 1 absolutely jaw dropping error in every game).

I got slated for saying Nardy wouldn't play 20 games or score more than 12 this season.
Just shows what I know, I suppose.

    "I got slated for saying..."

You whinging old woman. But as we're doing those kinds of posts...

I suggested that folk claiming Nardiello, Hayes and Conlon would get over 50 goals between them was being more than a touch optimistic. That didn't go down too well. Maybe they will, only 50 goals to go, give or take.

    The answer was

    F. As far away from our penalty area as possible

    He he he.

Not moaning, just stating what I said.
I also said that I thought Hayes had potential ... but we had signed up 3 strikers who are unproven at this standard, which is pretty scary.

It makes me feel alot better though when I see Deon knocking them in every week for the Millers.
    Oh aye.

    RE: The answer was

Chill out. We used to be in the Premiership, you know.
