    .. 2 new CB’s required at the start of the window please.

    Not a young ‘un from Burnley, not an experiment from Southend who’s playing non-league.

    Players who’ve played at this level or above if you’re really wanting a charge at promotion.

    Patrick Bauer from PNE is available, as is George Edmundson at Ipswich; I’ve done your job for you.. there’s your CB’s.

    Absolutely not, he was playing at this level last year. Burnley cancelled his loan at Bristol Rovers and sent him to us… ‘kind of cut throat attitude we need to be taking if we’re serious.

    Elliott Moore the Oxford captain. I wouldn't mind Carl Piergianni who looked good for Stevenage against us and has been having a fantastic season.

    Not disagreeing with the suggestion in principal just that not convinced those two are the answer.
    I don’t know how well recovered they are but do we risk it?
    If it worked out and one came and was the answer we would say yes but I also know if we did and they broke down the board would be slated for signing a crock.
    Not as easy as it looks.

    Would love to see Moore here, right age and a real statement of intent, Piergianni th8nk could do us a job but wrong age and not sure about if we went up.

    Agreed, need at least one if not two centre halves. Williams once again proved he’s not a central defender tonight. McCart, De Givegney, Lopata and Shepherd all should be in first team reckoning. Cundy and McCarthy don’t seem to have a shoe in so need two unless one of them is going to start getting chances. Don’t even know what’s happened to Cundy. Both better than most of the options we have now, which is a shame.

    The way Moore has been playing for Oxford, he’ll end up at a steady Champ side.
