Free ticket, if anyone wants it. Couple of conditions though... a) it's next to me, i'm afraid b) it's in the East Upper family stand (no effin' & jeffin') Gimme a shout if you want it. First come first served. Gratis, but obviously a few beers in the Silkstone would be gratefully received!
I'd have had it, but three issues: 1. I eff and jeff 2. I have to sit with my carer (Roy) to limit said effs and jeffs. 3. I hate the East Stand and everyone who sits in it. I might get you a drink though. Might.
Tha can have him for the afternoon if tha wants, I pack his wipes, cotton buds, bib, Dr snuggles spoon (I've to play aeroplanes with him to get him to eat his pie and peas) plus you've just got to repeatedly tell him it's naughty to swear, other than that he's fine
Last time I sat next to thi at a match you were asleep and then randomly jumped out your seat to shout "CONOR? CONOR?!" at our boy Hourihane, before going back to sleep. It's something I'll always remember, like where I was when I found out Diana died - I was having a ****. True story.
If we're doing that then I'd have had it, but three issues: 1. I eff and jeff 2. I'm going with my dad if I'm going 3. I might not even be able to go yet Thanks for the offer though - I would definitely have taken you up on it if it weren't for the above!
I sit in the family stand we Arthur and Martha instead of Effing and Jeffing. I never thought id live in a football world without swearing. To be fair if you need to curse you can sit across the aisle in the non family stand and swear until your hearts content safe in the knowledge that the red Barrier will stop the swear words transmitting across the 3 feet of space.
Might be an idea if thas got time at game tomorrow to get me a Bradford ticket next to thee. I might pay you for it, I might not.
don't do owt daft like paying me...I don't want thi changing habit of a life time...aye I'll get it pal
That cracked me up , brilliant moment, I still laugh when I think about that...err Marc jumping up that is not Diana
another classic conor performance. i was a bit tired. think i used all my energy in them two words. seriously, how w&nk was he that day!!!?
even now, the very odd minor explosion creeps up on me. but i get roundly glared at. it's quite a nice atmosphere actually. everyone seems very friendly
It all is very friendly though sometimes I have to banish my brother to the non family stand bit when he uses 'pit' language to stop us getting blackballed.
Doubt it. Fallen on a bad week. I'm hoping adam or ash can come and look after spencer but it'll mean I only get there for the match, no time for a beer. If they can't do it I'll not even be coming over.
