I'm bored. Can we swap Mr Jolly lines some more?

"The stupid Barstewards. They've put it on the wrong way round!"

Dull and unashamedly nerdy point: If you look carefully Ade Edmondson (sp?) cuts himself just as he says "I don't seem to be able to get these demijohns in without smashing them."

    - Are you sure you haven't got a bar in here?

    - No!

    - Well what's that alcohol smell then?

    - That's embalming fluid!

_ Barmy fluid? Right, I'll have some of that then!

Anybody got the technical ability and inclination to do me a huge favour?

For reasons which are probably fairly self-apparent, I've become somewhat associated with the phrase "Drinky? . . . Drinky!" as said by Rik Mayall when they get the japanese bloke into the van at the start of his "tour". I'd love to have this (very short) clip on video on the PC but wouldn't know where to start and almost certainly lack the necessary gear (I've only got Mr Jolly on video for a start). Is there anyone out there who could help, or at least point me in the right direction as to what I'd need?

"I'd like to spend an evening with Nicholas Parsons because . . . never, ever, bloody anything, ever."

I think it's more complicated than that

But I don't know ho you'd go about cutting a clip from it. You'd have thought one of these techie guys on here would know . . .

Mr Fuego's brother is the infamous Revvie P

and I bet he can do it from Mr Fuego's own DVD.

I know, shall we ask him?

    It's a scorcher!

As I say, I only need the bit that says "Drinky? . . . Drinky!" and perhaps a few seconds either side for "comic context". Maybe from when they exit the hotel to when the van drives off, which can't be more than 10-15 seconds, if that.

    I'd be pathetically grateful.

    Revvie says no problem.

He even says I can do it, under his instruction so I will let you know how I get on.

Presumably the reulting file will be emailable, failing this I can use yousendit.com

What do you actually want it for - just to be able to play it on demand, or do you want it in a specific format to run automated at a particular time?

    It's the Fuego brothers!

That would be marvellous. Email would be a possibility or I'm sure we can sort something out. I'll PM you my contact details.

It's to be able to play on demand and to email to some people as a kind of early warning of my imminent return to their shores. Give them time to dig out their best drinking trousers and all that.

MPG or AVI would probably be most widely compatible (although to be honest I'm guessing here).

Thanks again. I'm dead excited now!
