Evening Dreamboy - As my post said earlier - Proud to be a red again after today

    Excellent from 1 to 10 (11)

Dawson was easily the best player on the park and I thought the players showed passion and grit today against a dangerous Peterbro' team but we held firm onto our one goal lead.

Nice to see Oakwell singing again and the fans and the team we're all in it together today which sadly on numerous games this season hasn't happened.

They can lose every week for me as long as they show the same b*llox as they did today.

Coventry won so we just need another 2 maybe 3 points and we've stayed up for certain.

Good post mate and I'm delighted that we put in a performance you can be proud of. There are certain posters on this board who really are only happy when we're losing, and you're clearly not one of them.

Only thing I'd say, is have more faith and patience. I really hoped that a performance like this was round the corner, and now we've had one I hope that there will be more. I'm a 'glass half full' type of fella, so it would have needed several more months of the recent crap we've been served up before I'd have rounded on the manager. Perhaps because we all have to understand the constraints we're working to.

Just like you - if that kind of effort and commitment is on display every week, then I'll enjoy more games than I don't, and even if that leads to us struggling in the league, I'll be happy watching the reds.

Yes KFC totally agree - play for the shirt I'm happy every week whatever the result

    may be............

I hate to see our team lose, but it's the manner in too many games which we have lost this season that really hurts.

The last 20 games I had lost a lot of faith in Hill and some of his players but after todays performance and listening to both of his interviews to the media after the game today I think Hill showed a lot of humility / honesty and talked a lot of sense for a change instead of riddles, and after listening to that Hill has gone up a lot in my estimations.

Barnsley fans aren't idiots and the backing they've gave the players today showed Hill what the supporters have been crying out for - a team in our red shirt with high tempo, passion, fight and a set of b*llox, playing for a win and nothing else.

More of the same please Keith, hopefully today is the turning point of our season.

Nice to see you happy for a change :) I wouldn't want them to lose every week, but if they play positively like yesterday all the time, they will have the fans behind them even when we lose. It's just annoying when we lose without a fight being negative.

Dreamboy - Always happy me mate !!!! Hill got his tactics spot on yesterday

Hopefully Hill has learnt from yesterdays performance, he set the team up with attacking intent and didn't play for a point.

Thought his interviews after the game were superb and showed a lot of humility.

Play like that with the same passion for the shirt and I would happily watch them lose every week.

100% effort is all I and I would say vast majority of Oakwell wants.

Dawson's performance summed up what the supporters want to see I thought he was a warrior for us yesterday he was fantasic, along with the rest of the team also.

Lets not hope this wasn't a falsh in the pan and we can carry this on for the remaining games of the season.

Hopefully hill has read this board and learnt where he's going wrong, I'm sick of him trying to do things on his own,

if thats all you want to contribute, tit for tat crap, go ahead.

If you think they're shouldn't be any doubters or critics after the horrendous run we've just had then that is beyond me. I know quite a few 'Positive Petes' that have become disillusioned since January. Whether yesterdays win is a turning point, or just 1 swallow trying to make a summer we shall see. I'm everemore hopeful.

So its ok to have a dig at the team, but not have a dig at some of the moaners on here who had Done, Wiseman & Dawson down as rubbish players merely because they were signed from lower league clubs?

Half the posts on here are tit for tat crap anyway.
