At the interview, on the form, they'll ask what shift he wants. Tell him to stick nights on. The day shift is awful by all accounts, about 4 hours a day for 4 days a week. But, each to their own etc. They set 6 newbies on on our shift this week, and only 4 were still there yesterday, and one chap has the body of Rik Waller so I can't see him lasting much longer. No offence to other tubbies, but it's graft for 7 hours on your feet walking miles. He was plodding about like Jan Molby in 1995 and they'll soon get shut. Good luck to your lad, though. Interview a formality. But seriously, he'd be better on the proper shift with the proper men/wages.hours.
He definitely wants nights mate, apparently the guy he spoke to on the phone is aware he wants nights, it sounds like a formality because he told him to take his bank details with him. Do you get paid weekly or monthly
Weekly on agency. It's definitely a formality. They'll give anybody a job (I'm proof of that). And tell him to take his p45 ASAP otherwise they'll rape him for tax.
