    Mount Teide is grumbling.
What a spectacular drive up to the caldera that is and the views of the lava flows are simply stunning. I have never seen anything like it in my life and would recommend it to any visitor to Tenerife.

We did the " Tieda a at Night" experience when we stayed at the Hotel Gran in Costa Adeje.
We left the hotel around 6 pm and the coach set off en route to the summit.
Breathtaking views on the way and a very nice three course meal with wine included in the overall price.
Whilst it has been a sunny day, you don't really appreciate how cold it is as night until you get to the summit.
Once there , the guide gives a talk on the stars visible in the night sky.
Back to the hotel at circa 11.30pm for a snack and in time for half price drinks in the bar.
Really good excursion. Can fully recommend.
