by the sounds of it! I think it's midfield where the problem lies, no creative service for the front two. Lets face facts, both macken and cureton are proven at this level so it doesn't take a brain surgeon to see the problem area is behind them. I think we actually miss howard pushing on and creating opportunities for the strikers. De silva and leon are not the answer, far too sideways in their movement and passing style, too pretty to be effective. But thats what you get with a foreign midfield i suppose!

    Of course we miss Howard

Anyone who didn't think we'd miss a player like Howard is a loony.

    We're much better without Howard.

We've seen a massiverise in our PPG since Howard left and the Blades have suffered an equally significant drop. Handsome is as handsome does.

    more luck than judgement windy

Davey has been VERY lucky to have got a better ppg of recent weeks, and has shown little tactical improvement to show that he is developing further skills. still doesnt use the subs bench correctly, fails to change things during a game and a plan b to davey is something that wasps use to take over hives.

You don't have to point out Davey's failings to me mate.

But a 1ppg rise for us and a 1ppg drop for them, to me, highlights Howard as a luxury player neither side can afford. They're pretty radical figures.*

*Not now fully up to date but still not far off.
