Superb, 2 proper friendlies against ***** and looks like 2 defeats. (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) shame **** different day
a question was asked, a response was received, thats called conversation! seem to recall a madmark when i worked at rampton
the point is a poor pre-season is no indication to the season ahead. Everton just lost 4-2 to cambridge, Man U drew 1-1 with a **** band from Leeds. It proves nothing. Its about getting a run out and if you get a few goals and a few wins then its a bonus. Players mentality in pre-season is so different. Its like comparing the driving range to the Open championship.
its not relevant but perhaps just suggests that you shoudnt read too much into pre season results, cambridge hammered everton other day, means nothing
So you should not be bothered how bad you hit the ball on the driving range then? I always thought it was to improve your game, therefore you should always be trying.
RE: OK that was a bad analogy but results in preseason dont mean anything and I stand by that. Fitness/sharpness and squad cohesion are the main aim. It is a little worrying that we cant seem to string a few passes togtherer though.
