RE: Shame He Doesn't Then people have the nerve to saying Leon's good Not a patch on McIndoe unfortunately
and we all thought he was daft going to Bristol "why's he going there when Wolves could easily go up?" was the jist of my thoughts
Think its down to his manager Worked with him at Yeovil and did okay. When he moved on to Donny, us, and Wolves, it sounds like he was having problems off the pitch. Now he's back with Johnson, he's playing at his best, and concentrating on his football. Good luck to the lad.
RE: Think its down to his manager where was he having "problems off pitch" with us...? he left because he knew we would be fighting relegation every season, he was right.... I have had the pleasure of meeting him, he is a great lad, very ambitious... Good Luck to him....
I don't think he was with us long enough But I heard there were problems at Donny. An incident at a gym apparently. Whether it was Donny fans being bitter at him leaving. Point I was trying to make is that he seems to respect Gary Johnson and is getting his act together. As to his leaving us, we were stepping stone to his next club, and that's all we were to him.
RE: I don't think he was with us long enough Youre right about his respect for Gary Johnson taking him to Brizzle, however I dont think youre right about this club being a stepping stone for him, when I spoke to him he was enthusiastic said we (Barnsley) have the potential to make the play offs. He said he was enjoying his move from Donny. The clause in his contract with us might have indicated otherwise, I guess thats his agent looking after his interests. Hope he fulfils his ambition of playing in the Premiership....
I think you'll find That Andy Ritchie stood at the bottom of Grove Street throwing bricks at McIndoe to try and prevent him getting into the Ponty end car park to come and sign.
