Started last week with a sore throat, sickness and headache, it then turned to lots of pain in my joints and stiffness in my back. By Friday I couldn't get out of bed. GP said my glands were swollen and started treating me for a viral infection giving me high dose of antibiotics. This weekend I have been worse, couldn't stop throwing up, burning up crying with pain and then trying to sleep. Saw another GP today who thinks the antibiotics are too strong and have irritated my stomach making me more sick. He also thinks the pain and stiffness could be juvenile arthritis so has done some blood tests to check for that and to check that it is not a kidney problem as lots of the pain is in my stomach and lower back. Got to go back and see him again tomorrow. It would help if I knew what was wrong as I feel awful and it's not like me to complain.
sorry to hear that Laura. I was..... ....laid up t'other week with a tooth infection. Feel a bit pathetic that it confined me to bed after reading all that you're going through. Get well soon!
Bless you, sweetheart. Keep smiling as it will get you through rough times. Sometimes life treats you badly but then something comes along to cheer you up. Hope all goes well. xxx
Sorry to hear that, Laura Hope they get to the bottom of it quickly and you start to feel better soon. Perhaps a good performance from the Reds tomorrow night will help to take your mind off it for a bit.
Thanks, hope you are better now. I'll cope, I think it's just because the Drs. keep changing their mind about what's wrong so I'm starting to worry about could it be....... ? Mum has told me to calm down and we'll see, whatever is wrong I'll get through it.
Thank you J I'm sure I'll be ok. Mum usually says "if i have the energy to moan I must be getting better"
There's only One Laura Herring one Laura Herring, walking along singing a song walking in a football wonderland.. You Redzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Let's hope so. I was thinking of going to the match as i haven't been to one this season but now I'm not well I can't. Better luck next time.
I am thanks, though..... ...it ruined our short break in Amsterdam. Good job our hotel was nice, we spent most of our time in it! Dutch dentist was expensive useless though, I had to drive straight to the Charles Clifford as soon as we landed, they sorted me out in no time (and for free!). God bless the NHS (and South Yorkshire of course!)
Not made it yet this season myself Planning on going to the Luton game in a couple of weeks. Really looking forward to it. Maybe if you're better I might see you there.
RE: Hope you feel better soon Laura... Thanks if there's any luck to want it's definately good ff Sorry ff
