Fed up with Sky... would you move over to Sky Freeview or Freeview itself?

Any of you done this, and if so what benefits or otherwise have you found between the two alternatives?
Point is, we can't afford to pay Sky the 40+ quid they want for the full package, so we're going to opt out altogether.
Any suggestions?

Tell them you're not happy and you're contemplating switching. You'll get a good deal on SKY+ (Y)
