    ....... the bid is acceptable to Chesterfield, which means he will come and speak to Davey & Co, but he nows has to agree his personal terms with us, if he can't agree wages/signing on fee and pass a medical the deal won't go through

    Shouldnt be too much of a problem should it? Bet hes not on much at Chesterfield plus he can have Mosttos fifty bob on top of the lucky bag were offering.

    He wasn't on much at Chesterfield, so I can't see the deal falling through because of wages.
    I'd offer him a pay as you score wage of 3 thousand pounds every time he scores.

    The player said that he wanted to come to Oakwell so I can't see his terms being a problem.</p>

    He will have a good idea on what his salery will be without officially speaking to the Club.

    I've lost touch a little with salaries at Oakwell. When a friend of mine was there as a player a couple of seasons ago I know players were getting in the region of 4k.
