Would go against this report if a fee has been agreed

And with Pool making little headway in the chase for Fleetwood’s Jamie Vardy and Barnsley pricing Ricardo Vaz Te out of the market, Holloway has hit his fair share of dead ends this January.

I doubt this, as of yesterday Blackpool hadn't even been in touch with us about Vaz Te

Would be daft not to sell him

If he's likely to leave in the summer for nothing.

Would rather try and get £750k for him now, which I don't think is an unreasonable ask, and look to move on.

I agree. I'd rather we sell him now for 500k to one million then lose him for nothing in the summer. With a good fee like that brought into the club i'd trust Hill to be able to bring in two good value permanent signings that would strengthen our team.

I'd be very surprised if we got anywhere near 500k. Personally, I think we'll have him until the summer,at least.

Top five goalscorer in the Championship with numerous assists, who frightens defenders in this league to death everytime he gets the ball?

£750k to secure him on a three year contact now is market value in my eyes - or risk trying to sign him when numerous clubs want him in the summer.

Disagree, don't think we'd get that much and he's more important to us for remainder of season even if he leaves for nothing. He signed for nothing don't forget. If he left we could face a slide down the table.

Billy Sharp wouldn't be a risk for any club in championship, Vaz Te would. I rate him, but he's only played well for about three months.

So what price do you put on potentionally another 15 Championship goals from RVT given his current goals per game ratio and the fact we have lost our two most influential midfield playmakers?

Re: Would be daft not to sell him

I look at it long term, in the belief that a replacement could be brought in that would help the squad comfortably stay in this division.

With our limited budget, £750k is a big addition to Keith Hill's summer transfer plans.

As a final point, his current goals per game ratio is pretty much without Butterfield, so the team is only minus one influential midfield playmaker in that sense.
