Used to use AVG but it didn't pick some things up and reported others as viruses when they weren't.

 

Asked this question myself recently.

Installed and uninstalled various ones on three laptops and came to two conclusions. </p>

AVG is like pouring treacle into your pc.</p>

Avast hardly affects speed at all.</p>

So Avast then. Especially for REAL fans.</p>

I have two laptops.....oooohhhh get me.....

one has komodo on one has avg....they both seem ok to me....
