    he eventually signed a permanent deal with the Tykes on 28 January 2008 for an undisclosed six-figure fee, believed to be around 400 Lira

    Knocking on, injury prone, hardly scores, surplus to requirements at previous club and was out of contract at the end of this season. I'd be surprised if it's more than 200K.

    Great to have him back, just stating facts. Someone to hold the ball up for Nards, someone experienced to help guys like Mostto and Odejayi improve, competition for places etc.

    He turned down Iranian citizenship in 1996, and was touted to replace Romario as Brazil's centre-forward in 1998, but the job fell to Ronaldo.
