Seemingly, whilst we still seem to be conceeding goals, and throwing away leads, Danny seems to have got us very difficult to beat. This to me says that we'll start picking up wins sooner or later and if god forbid, we get a win tomorrow, we'll be facing out of sorts Millwall, with a chance to get out of the bottom three. Am I right in thinking we've only lost one league game this year? Sadly we've only won 1 as well, but picking up points has ensured we haven't been cut adrift.
It's not league table you want to be looking at it's the fixture list have you seen home games we've got left after millwall, forest Lester AFCB Brighton burnley Leeds and QPR we'll be lucky to get 6 points
To be honest, we got draws against Blackburn and Ipswich at home, why can't we get at least that against all the teams you listed, and realistically I can see us getting more than that against Bournemouth, Leeds and maybe even Brighton
Need minimum 3 ideally 4 points rest of this month. I said 4 points from Donny and Wigan. Just so happens need a win against the harder team to get that. Possible. McCourt more suited to better teams perhaps. Still think had Cranie goal stood we'd have gone on to win comfortably. Forget the penalty as that situation wouldn't have happened. Butterfly effect theory I like to say. Would have preferred Danny to talk about Cranie 'goal' rather than their 'penalty' on highlights. Maybe he did but bbc choose not to show.
I think we would have been comfortable and pushed for more goals. We were on top at that point at and the goal that was disallowed would have come at the right time. ***** refereeing again costing us. Gets a bit frustrating when we score 4 goals and end up drawing 2-2.
I'm confident we'll stay up and will remain so until we're down. I accept my being one of the rose tinted specs wearing optimists makes me & my views fairly predictable and worthless. However, we have TWO strikers both scoring and playing well, we have players such as McCourt and Jennings capable of creating excitement for the fans and chances for team mates. We will hopefully have both McLaughlin & Mellis available for selection at the weekend. If we can cut out the individual & costly errors from the past few games, then I'm confident we'll begin to move in the right direction.
Im not confident. I do think we are a stronger unit since DW came in, I do think we've had some bad luck........but we've also lost concentration at vital times and made too many errors that have cost us points. We will get it right, but will probably run out of games before we do........and that means relegation. Thats my head talking........my heart says we stay up!
Perhaps I'm not being a realist, I'm certain there's a good number who'll accuse me as such. However, I honestly believe we can do it & will do it. There may also be a case for upping my medication!
In my mind we needed to win the home games against Charlton, Donny, Wednesday and Yeovil to be in the mix. Failure yo do so will haunt us. I'd like to be wrong and w are certainly better since Danny took charge but for a team like ours those games really were win. Our remaining home games are amongst the most difficult and I don't see any indication we can bridge the gap between away draws and away wins. Gloomy I know but I always thought Danny would struggle given the hone games that had already gone.
Just teks summat to click into place and we will be off and running and preventing that fat bird from singing. You reds.
