to be honest he had a pretty average (to poor) season last season, don't know if it was the ankle injury or the loss of Razci but he wasnt the same player that had saved us the season before. I guess that when they compared him to oddjob they looked at their ages and thought oddjob had potential to improve wheras Stan had already peaked.
Why did it take so long for Davey to see what we all saw in Oddjob? He was never going to make it at this level, not in a million years. I'd have got rid of him and kept Stan for another season.
