Dont get to any games as I live overseas. I know he's not scored for a while, just wondered how he's doing, still looking the business? Keep hearing abou t how hard he works. Dont think Rajczi will be offered a contract from what I've heard of his performances. How's the big man going to do over a full season do you think?
He's just fine not just a goalscorer - an all round good player - also Nads is a completely different player when he is playing alongside him. Ferenczi will score more goals in any case - you didnt really expect him to keep up a goal a game for the rest of the season did you?
RE: He's just fine Yes I expected 46 goals over a season. No... not at all, but it seems clear that Rajzci is either not the player we hoped he would be or english football might not suit him. Good to hear that the big lad has a good all round game and will notch too. He seems perfect for the english game, a great signing IMHO.
Works his socks off up front, closing down defenders, putting them under pressure. Could have scored yesterday in 2nd half, when he had space about 12 yards out and more time than he realised. He went for power, on the half-volley, and his shot went a yard over the bar. Popular with most fans, chanting his name, sounds like they're saying it correctly too.
There's no doubt that the signing of the two of them.. was the catalyst for the upturn in fortues of the whole team. A master stroke that the club should be given credit for.
Very Harsh on Rajczi so soon in his spell... He hasn't settled as well as Ferenczi in terms of getting a run of goals early on to assist him in settling. I think we will sign him, as we paid most of the fee as a loan fee anyway from what I gathered, and that he'll be a useful signing next season after a pre-season to adapt.
What we don't know is how much Rajczi being at the club has helped Ferenczi to settle. Also I like the look of them when they are playing together as a front 2 (e.g. at Stoke) but it hasn't happened that often and Rajczi seems to have been pushed out wide instead. Rajczi does work hard and close down (as they both do) and also looks for space to move into for a pass. Would hope they are both with us at the start of next season.
Stan has turned into a bit of a legend already. He gets his name sang numerous times in every match. He always responds too which is nice to see, banging his chest yesterday. Racjzi hasnt really been given as much chance to shine but he is another grafter and looks like he could be useful. Hope they both stay as theit signing seemed to help galvanise the squad. Well done SD for finding them. Lets be honest, who had heard of either them before they signed.
