Few points on todays game

Not in the game for the first 25 minutes and i thought it could be a tonking but we came back and controlled the rest of the game and played some nice football, Diego at times looked brilliant but for all our possesion we could still be playing now and wouldn't have scored. Front two were non existent, seemed to make the same moves towards the ball.</p>

Disapointed that we didn't go for it and try to get an equalizer, Mostto and KO were left on the bench and weren't used it was as if Davey was settling for a 1-0 defeat.</p>

Thought the tactic of not playing wingers was strange and JCR just is'nt a central midfielder, when he loses the ball on the wing we are no way near as exposed as we are when he does in the middle of the park.</p>

Colace was quality today, gets better every week in my opinion.</p>

Overall we played well without ever looking dangerous, strange tactics by Davey and if he had any balls and risked going for it the game was there for the taking, same old story in the end and it wont be the last time we go away an get similar results and performances under Davey.</p>

Yes and he brought rigters (never seen a footballer) on, still had 1 sub left to use and did nothing. Macken was once again strolling about but he seems to be undroppable, Cureton looked sharper today so hopefully he will get better with games.

My thoughts. Muller did ok except his howler. We looked more assured at back actually when Bobby moved inside. Van Homoet only really got involved when JCR got out wide. Foster did ok but happy for him to go back out at RB when Moore back. Did think it would have been good to have Atkinson there on the bench, as 4 right backs in defence not ideal.

Anderson did too many fancy passes slowing the game down, he looked like he wanted to be somewhere else. I hear of all this Leon praise on here, and hear some Wolves fans saying 'there no. 14 was class' - they can have him if they want. With the continental midfield we were too fancy when direct would have been better. Missing a good English-style centre midfield.

Macken decided to jog about, Cureton can't stay onside yet has been playing for 15 years. 3 up front might have worked if they had got any service.

Not in the game first 20 mins then controlled it at times but no conviction in front of goal. And waiting nearly an hour for slow coaches to turn up for pigs to take us to ground was ****.

Just thought if we had played with width we could have got behind them, JCR is wasted in the middle. Agree about Anderson he seemed distracted today. Leon in small bursts was class b ut he gets carried away and gave the ball away a few times.
