Is McCann a winger? If so has anyone seen him beat a man?

Was Nards injured when he went off on saturday?

And is Leon Knight nailed on as a permenant deal in Jan?

    Only asking

becasue he looks out of position and i thought on saturday hayes caused a few problems down the right becasue he got at the full back, same with nards when he ran at them they didn't like it, thought devaldo could have been woth a gamble and move mccann inside.

I do like togwell, he has a grwat work ethis but he can sometimes disappear too much for me in terms of wanting the ball, movement etc

Had the commentry on Radio Sheffield, and they couldn't understand why they never brought Devaney on and move Hayes onto the left.

McCann was much better in the second half

NOt quite sure playing him wide midfield is the answer tho - I thought we'd got him in for left-back but obviously not judging by his selection so far.

    one thing about him

is he offers extra protection to the defence i.e not guns blazing going forward which is what i've said we've needed this year at times, take some of the attackling element out of our play and balance it up a little more!

But at the same time on saturday i thought if we maybe had that extra option out wide of devaldo we could have won the game.

At least now we have options in midfield because out of all the positions that is where i thought we lacked depth the most!
