In fairness to him, theres absolutely NOTHING on our bench that I think would do anything to help the cause. We'd have lost this game whoever was in charge with the squad we have today. Signings are going to be the key to whether Davey is successful or not - though I do fear the worst.
Which players not in the 16 that aren't injured would make a difference? Until we make some signings, we lose one player to injury. We can't hold Davey responsible for the squad that he's been left with - though we can hold him responsible for what sounds like an awful performance. We need to let him make signings now that he's been appointed - I expected us to lose today, maybe not with such a whimper, but we don't have a whole lot of options at the moment.
Take it that was for me well Spackman and his supporters made much of him having the highest european coaching badges. Me I'd rather have a good man manager with a keen footballing brain
Yes, sorry I lost track of where I was ..... ... when I posted! I agree with you, Spackman and his sort of 'text book managers' are not the answer, not sure what badges Ian Holloway has but he's my kind of manager, nutcase but knows the game, has been there and done it at this level and gets the best out of his players, even if they aren't worldbeaters
